Jim Soules formed Soules Company in 2007 to continue his efforts at promoting innovative green residential and community development. In 1996 Jim founded and until 2007 was a Principal with The Cottage Company, LLC a Seattle-based residential development company focused on building ‘pocket neighborhoods’ of detached single-family homes, cottages and compact homes as infill in existing suburban neighborhoods. Jim moved California in 2008 and developed the Keller Court Commons pocket neighborhood of 8 homes in Petaluma, California. Jim moved to Langley, Washington in 2021 and continues innovative infill residential development.
